Thanneemalai. A Form 3 student studying at KGV too!

What time do you get up in the morning?

6.00am and get ready for school. I usually arrive at school by 7.00am.

What time do you start/finish school?

Monday: 7.25am - 2.00pm
Tuesday and Wednesday: 7.25am - 2.40pm
Thursday: 7.25am - 4.30pm
Friday: 7.25am - 12.00pm
Break Time (Recess): 10.20am - 10.40am

What subjects do you study?

Chemistry, Physics, Additional Maths , Biology,Accounting, Bahasa Malaysia, English, Maths, History.

Can you describe a lesson at school?

Monday 7.25 - Attend school's assembly. Rest of the day/week: Lessons begin.

In class we study five subjects in a day and normally each subjects will lasts for 2 periods (except for History class which only lasts for one period).

Thursday - attend extra curricular activities at school after 2.40pm.

Where do you sit? Do you work with friends or by yourself?

I sit in the front row.

What do you do in the evening after school?

I attend tuition class:

Monday: 3.30pm - 5.30pm (Biology)
Tuesday: 5.00pm - 7.30pm (Additional Maths)
Wednesday: 8.00pm - 10.00pm (Bahasa Malaysia)
Thursday: 8.00pm - 10.00pm (Physics)
Friday: Rest day
Saturday: 5.00pm - 7.00pm (Chemistry)
Sunday: 8.00am - 10.00am (Accounting)

Do you get much homework?

Normally we are given exercises to do and I try to finish my homework during school hours.

Do you have to take exams at school?

Yes, monthly and term exams.

What would you like to do as a job/career when you are older?

I wish to follow my father's footstep - to become a doctor.

Would you like to go to College/University?

I wish to enter the National Service before continuing my studies overseas. Maybe I will go to India or Indonesia to pursue a medical course. It is cheaper and nearer to home (Malaysia).

What do you usually eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner?

I normally have a home cooked meal prepared by my mother such as Thosai, Idli, (Indian Foods)...

Where do you meet your friends outside of school?

During tuition classes and during the holidays we go for movies.

What are your hobbies?

I love helping my mother with gardening and reading.
