Why did you choose to go to university?

It seemed like the natural route to take. Also, I wanted to move away from home and university seemed like a way of doing that without too much stress..

Why did you choose Portsmouth university?

I liked the application process and felt like I was wanted, rather than being treated like a number. I liked Portsmouth and the fact that the University is based in the city centre.

What does your course involve?

Learning about the design process from start to finish, using industry techniques and mechanical and material processes.

Why did you pick Property Development?

It is a high quality course that employers will appreciate. Also, I like taking things apart and finding out how they work.

What do you hope to do when you leave university?

Hopefully join the Royal Air Force as an officer.

What are the best bits about university for you?

The diversity of activities available at the Students' Union.

How did you find the transition from college to university? What help did you receive? If you moved away from home, how did you find it?

It was very easy. The university were really helpful with information. I received advice on housing, finance and academic skills.
