UP for It is the University of Portsmouth's award winning membership scheme for anyone and everyone out there who is 11-16. It is completely free to join and gives you the opportunity to visit the University and to find out about what's on offer once you leave school.

It's really important to start thinking about your future now. Your career may seem like a long way off, but the decisions that you make at school will be really important in shaping what you do in the future. Some of you may already have some idea of your future plans and others of you may not. That's where the UP for It club can help you.

So what do you get when you join?

You'll get a high quality quarterly magazine that is packed with interesting articles featuring different careers and courses. You can read reviews from our Press Packers on all sorts of different events, attractions, books etc; information and reviews on all our workshops, advice from our academic doctor, games, puzzles and competitions, plus much much more.

You will be invited to all of our free workshops that we run during the school holidays in all sorts of subjects such as football, dance, computer animation, computer game design, illustration, fashion design and sports science to name but a few.

You'll receive an UP for It membership card that will give you discounts in attractions and retail outlets across Hampshire.

You'll have access to our members only section of this website which gives you cool benefits such as e-cards, games, downloads, competitions, workshops, an on-line gallery, student diaries and careers information relevant to your school year.

This is your club so we want you to get involved! You can become a Press Packer if you fancy writing reviews for the magazine, you can write to us with a reader letter if you have any comments or ideas or you can write to our academic doctor if you have any questions about school, college, University etc.
